Marina de Lagos
“A major attraction of HavenStar is that it was designed as a modular application, specifically for marinas, harbours and waterways.”
The Algarve coast of Portugal benefits from some of the best weather in Europe. The region basks in an annual average of 3,000 hours of sunshine more than California while daytime temperatures even in the winter seldom fall below 15ēC. This weather pattern, together with a dedication to high quality customer service, means that the award-winning Marina de Lagos enjoys a lively business all year round.

Yacht Havens Group
“We particularly like the ease of access to the information held
on the central HavenStar database.”
With eight prime marina locations throughout England, Wales and Scotland, the Yacht Havens Group is one of the most successful operators and managers of marinas and boat yards in the UK. It has well-established businesses at Lymington, Plymouth, Neyland, Troon, Largs and Fambridge, providing the boating community with a broad range of services encompassing berthing and mooring, servicing and repairs, and hard standing boat storage. It also has a variety of on-site hospitality, retail premises and industrial units.

Liverpool Marina
The approach by sea to the Liverpool Marina on the River Mersey, from the perspective of the sights, sounds and the backdrop of historic buildings is reckoned by the boating fraternity to be second only to that of New York. Even for those who have never set foot on a boat, there is a buzz about the marina with its striking clubhouse, bar and restaurant that has attracted an increasing number of patrons and visitors since Liverpool marina opened for business in 1990.
An admired venue for corporate events, weddings and receptions, parties and special occasions, there is no doubt that what makes Liverpool Marina unique and spectacularly different from so many other places is the maritime backdrop - and the berthing area where hundreds of boats may be moored at any one time.

Hafan Pwllheli Marina
Situated on the south side of the Lleyn Peninsula in Wales, the Hafan Pwllheli marina gives access to some of the best sailing waters in the UK - including Cardigan Bay, Anglesey and the harbours along Ireland's east coast. While yachtsmen cruising the peninsula hone their sailing skills, Cardigan Bay has also become increasingly popular with motor cruisers relocating to the area following introduction of speed restrictions in the Lake District.
Hafan Pwllheli is certainly a big draw in the area, evidenced by the growth in the number of berths since the marina opened in April 1991 with mooring for 285 vessels. Now, the marina has 420 pontoon berths - and could easily fill another 300 or so, such is the demand for mooring facilities.

Quay Marinas
The growing popularity of sailing and power-boating, together with booming demand for stylish waterfront living, has been good news for marina development and management specialist Quay Marinas Limited. The company’s history goes back more than 30 years, including a period when it operated as Crest Nicholson Marinas, providing marina expertise to the Crest Nicholson PLC property development group.
The name change to Quay Marinas came about when it was re-launched in January 2005 following acquisition of the business by the company’s long-established management team.
