Coventry-based accountants, Pilley & Florsham is the latest firm to adopt the new ePayslips system, giving its Paysolve payroll clients immediate direct access to their payslips over the internet.
The Star ePayslips system stores payslips on a secure hosted service, allowing staff and employers to call up electronic copies of current and archived payslips – 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
Pilley & Florsham partner, Laurence Moore, expects ePayslips to be a popular service with existing and new clients. “We handle payroll production for more than 100 companies, including many local businesses as well as the UK operations of American and European companies, and High Street names such as the Subway fast-food franchise,” he said.
“The system will save administrative time and effort preparing payslips, as well as cut down on the cost of printing and posting out paper copies. It also puts an end to lost payslips when evidence of salary is needed – such as re-mortgaging, for example – and the mortgage provider asks for payslips going back six months.
“Inevitably, one or more payslips will have been mislaid, resulting in a telephone call to the payroll department asking for copies. Now, people can by-pass the department and call up the relevant payslip on screen, using a secure log-in and password, quickly and easily,” Laurence Moore added.
