We have used Star Payroll Professional for some years and I have to say it is absolutely great in every respect.
The product is easy to use and has all the flexibility you need as a bureau processor to cater for all situations and particular client requirements. Support is by phone or e-mail (as you wish) and is quick and helpful - easily the best I have come across in any software.
Virtually everything is user definable (if you wish to alter any of the standard stuff that is there) such as descriptions of umpteen pay components whether they are additions or deductions and whether pre or post tax items etc. The reporting is also fully flexible - there is a massive amount of standard reports you can produce which will suit most clients but you have the option to produce totally tailor made reports to suit the client's wishes.
It controls and does all the statutory stuff very easily (SSP, SMP, SPP [and the many other types], tax credits, student loans, attachment orders). Internet filing all catered for. No question – it’s brill.
