If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. This is an adage that certainly makes sense but there are times when the self-evident logic of the statement has to be ignored – as is the case at postal mailing equipment company, FP Mailing Ltd. Its existing financial, accounting and business management system, Sage CS/3, still performs as well as it has ever done. However, to provide closer integration with systems in Germany there is a need to upgrade to the latest version of the software, Sage Line 500, running on a Linux platform.
