Over the years Star has worked with Freixenet, developing our IT infrastructure. Some of the many projects Star has undertaken for us include the migration / installation of our Windows 2003 Active Directory infrastructure. The team installed our ISA (Internet Security and Acceleration Server) Firewall. Star was again called upon when they were given the project to migrate our Small Business Server 2000 to Small Business Server 2003. Star once again executed the task to perfection, working out of hours to ensure limited downtime.

This started with the installation of our Windows 2000 system some years ago, and recently Star planned and rolled out a project to upgrade our infrastructure from Windows 2000 Active Directory to Windows 2003 Active Directory with the addition of Exchange 2003 and a site to site VPN solution across the three sites. Star performed very well with disruptions kept to a minimum. We are now in the process of discussing mobile technologies with Star to find a suitable solution to mobile email communications.

The range of services encompasses project planning and feasibility analysis, installation of hardware and software, rapid problem resolution and disaster recovery. Star's technical expertise proved invaluable during a recent hard drive failure in our network server, which despite being configured with secure RAID disks, crashed completely. Star's team worked long hours to get the network up and running as quickly as possible, demonstrating once again their all-round knowledge and experience.

Star have every step of the way recommended and successfully implemented a number of projects for Moore Thompson, everything from hardware recommendation to network and infrastructure advice. The most recent work undertaken by Star was in the implementation of ISA 2006 which encompassed Outlook Web Access and email synchronization using PDA devices.
